Guiding Principles
We believe that:
Personal and collective liberation begins with love.
The work is ongoing. We commit over and over again to racial justice and collective liberation.
Each of us has the innate capacity to heal and to experience more dignity, belonging, and wholeness in our bodies, hearts, and minds.
The roots of white supremacy live within each of us and can cause harm in our lives and in our movements for social change.
Healing these roots allows us to show up more whole, more connected, and more effective in the work of collective liberation.
Personal and political growth are challenging, and both progress and setbacks are essential parts of the process.
This work is not linear. We honor where we are each day, without judgement, and stay committed to our healing and to each other.
As facilitators, we are devoted to doing this lifelong work ourselves, and to creating a loving and open space where we can heal the roots together.
