Sharon Groves (she/her) has been an organizer and activist for 20 years, working at the intersection of spirituality and justice. In that capacity she has developed programming, facilitated workshops, offered individual coaching, and fundraised for leaders organizing across racial, LGBTQ+ and gender justice. Her passion is to help people find their gifts and then to put them into service for the larger community. Sharon has worked nationally with the Human Rights Campaign, Auburn Seminary, and the Revolutionary Love Project. She also serves on a number of boards, including the Festival Center where she balances her national work with her local passion to imagine a justice-focused urban revitalization. Sharon has lived in the DMV for over 30 years with her partner Ann and loves exploring the city's magic with her dog or anyone interested.
